W O W!! Grammy award-winning blues-rock group Blues Travelercertainly continues to chart new musical directions. Led by singer John Popper, Blues Traveler performed a mix of old and new melodies, drawing upon their 30 years as one of music's most popular live bands,the Mayo Performing Arts Center, Saturday, July 15, 2017, like I never experienced in all my life with a blended audience.


Followed by the impressible warm up sensation Project Grand Slam, known as Robert Miller's Project Grand Slam, a New York-based Jazz Rock Fusion band with a twist of Classic Rock and Latin, which has earned over one million video views while defying genres, languages and geographic boundaries. O H M Y G O D!! W H A T A N EVENING! I've never laughed out loud as hard as I did Sunday, July 9, 2017 at The Woodland, Maplewood, New Jersey!

But, before I go there, allow me to began here. From the very moment I crossed the threshold, I knew I would have a good time. The overall space was decoratively on point with tables and chairs clothed and draped in black and white chair covers and table cloths, some trimmed in gold as each such table, such as where I was sitting Table 6, front and centered, were adorned with a sparkling glitter golden / white candle, while DJ Nix In The Mix entertained the incoming audience. The southern cuisine included: fish & shrimp, fish, wings, burgers, salad, green beans, potato salad and of course macaroni & cheese provided by Chef Rob Southern Supper Table. Hmm... I'm hungry! Oh my goodness, food, shows, rides, valuable food coupons, kiddie-land, free daily shows and events, the raw God-given talent: "And to one he gave five talents, to another two, and to another one, to each according to his own ability; and immediately he went on a journey", who can ask for anything more!

Well... certainly not us! The State Fair Meadowlands is an event within  events that I love to enjoy! Wherefore, Sunday, July 2 and Tuesday, July 4, 2017, I was granted the amazing opportunity to review and Blog about this incredible annual event now in its 31st season. 
In passing the seemly inconvenient, but necessary tight security, I knew in an instant that I would upgrade my media tickets to Unlimited Ride Hand Stamp on Sunday, July 2 and Fast Pass on Tuesday, July 4 to experience all the state fair had to offer.

Sambulance's Annual Dig, Dine, Drive

On Friday, June 9, 2017 from 6:00 to 10:00 PMDiggerland USA partnered with the SAMBULANCE Program, a 501 c(3) non-profit tasked with fostering special needs safety education. Both entities co-hosted Dig, Dine and Drive, an annual fun filled evening that took place for every one to experience!


Tickets for the all-inclusive event, were priced at a reasonable $30 each, where live entertainment, a BBQ buffet, auction, specialized stunt show, as well as access to all the park's various attractions; the modified programming with reduced sensory input from lights and noise and free ear plugs available upon request were all included and drew a generous crowd of so many happy people.

Proceeds are noted to go to and support the continued education and safety of special needs individuals through the non-profit, which offers free hands-on training to the special needs community that is such a well-worthy cause.
