Gaius Charles Weekly NBC Taken Recap Ep 6

SEASON 01 | EPISODE 06 | "HAIL MARY" | MONDAY, APRIL 3, 2017

MY FIRST TIME
What an honor to attend Gaius Charles' (John's) weekly, private but intimate conference call for the very first time. Now that's the favor of God! It was extremely fun and intriguing to interact with the star to discuss thoughts after last night's episode 06, season 01, "Hail Mary", Monday, April 3, 2017, NBC. Riveting scenes that take you to John's rough neighborhood to showing off his "pumped up guns" (the workout scene); while other scenes engage in doing something for the great of good; in a much as entire part of the story-line embark upon a trip to Russia.

TAKEN AT A GLIMPSE
For those of you who are not familiar with Taken, Taken is a Franco-American drama series based on the Taken FilmTrilogy. The series acts as a modern day origin story. Clive Standen stars as a younger version of Bryan Mills, the character played by Liam Neeson in the trilogy. The series was commissioned with a straight-to-series-order in September 2015. The series premiered on February 27, 2017, on NBC.

The show is, no doubt, an all action-packed based show, whereas, each week I am eagerly tuned in, as I'm immediately drawn with the anticipation of sitting on the edge of my seat, waiting for the next pulsating scene. I'm also, without question, a hard-core fan of action and thrill.

CONVO WITH GAIUS
Speaking to Gaius one-on-one, not only did I learn and get an in-depth perspective of his personal character, which he plays every week, "but a little play-by-play of the actual episode and little tidbits of upcoming episodes too". Moreover, what his character John stated about prayer in the latest episode, "Maybe you should stop praying for solutions and just try harder to be one", as a Believer in Christ, I was somewhat mind boggled by this line.

And, as he has stated in past, "what he loves about "Taken" is that this show broadcasts to the audience each week that the script goes beyond the traditional movie trilogy theme (someone being ‘Taken’). The TV series takes Taken to the next level of showing the team traveling to various locations nationally and globally, gets personal and back stories of the characters beside Bryan Mills, and it just a new added layer and depth of suspense that goes in each episode". And trust me, Taken does not disappoint!

NEXT ON TAKEN
All New | Episode 07 | "Solo" | Monday, April 10, 2017 | 10/9C | #Taken
Bryan is, no doubt, put to the test. He confronts his sister's killer.

WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR?
Have You Been Taken Away Yet? I urge you to catch up on the past episodes 1-6. THE INTRIGUE CONTINUES
On this week's recap convo call with Gaius Charles (John: "The Quiet Storm"), I poked into his personal background, regard to being a Christian, employed in the industry. And I admit, I am pleasantly surprise. Gaius made reference to a recent conversation, regarding this particular question and conversation. He proclaims he reviews the material he receives carefully and cautiously, i.e., scope, scheme and message, while at the same time, he recognizes that "God can use all kind of material", to which I concur.

Watch Night

I've never understood why church folk put so many stakes in a watch night service. Aren't we supposed to watch and pray regularly and Not once a year!

If you're going to have a service called watch night, then make it about the praying and watching as Yeshua commanded, otherwise, All you're doing is having another old church full of 'pagan' tradition, with no power! I’ll watch you miss heaven with your heathen selves!

Instead of a watch night service you need to host an old school through-back party and give people some of their money back you stole, All year long! Pay some bills, pay off some debts, have some healing and deliverance, put some groceries on the table! Then watch and see what the FatherYahweh does!
Instead of asking people to come watch with you, when was the last time you watched that single moms son? When was the last time you went to watch that young boys or girls game that don't have a dad? When was the last time you sat and watched a…
